Spooktacular Birthday Bash: Spirits, Signs, and Scottish Shenanigans
What happens when you mix a few October birthdays, a haunted app, and one very opinionated crow? You get the Spooktacular Birthday Bash — our latest Halloween-season episode of The Activity Continues!
After taking a short break, Amy and Megan returned for a live-recorded catch-up that turned into a ghost-filled celebration. Between Amy’s haunted adventures in Scotland and guest medium Leah Evenstar’s stories of spirit communication, this one’s equal parts heartfelt, hilarious, and hair-raising.

Amy shares the story of her spooky Scotland trip, where she did a few EVP sessions (because of course she did). One of them produced what might have been a growl—or maybe just something shifting downstairs while Greg slept peacefully, blissfully unaware.
Whether it was paranormal or just the house settling, it was enough to make Megan declare it a “nope” and announce she’d have slept in the car. Listeners will know: that’s about as on-brand as it gets.
🔮 Enter Leah Evenstar: Medium, Shaman, and Birthday Twin
The episode takes a deeper, more soulful turn when Leah Evenstar joins the conversation. Leah shares her experiences as a practicing medium, including a beautiful story about feeling the spirit of a beloved cat moments after it passed—proof, she says, that connection doesn’t end when the heartbeat stops.
Leah also talks about the rise of what she calls “accidental mediums.” More and more people are noticing things they never used to—seeing shadows, hearing voices, or just feeling something that wasn’t there before. According to Leah, the veil between worlds is thinner than ever, and many of us are waking up to gifts we didn’t realize we had.

From there, the conversation dives into how the spirit world reaches out. Both Amy and Megan have been noticing ringing in their ears and unusually vivid dreams—signs, Leah explains, that can mean spirit is trying to communicate.
Her advice? Ask questions. Stay open. And maybe don’t freak out if your Spirit Talker app says “I’m right behind you.” (Amy’s words: “Knock it off.” Megan’s: “I’d be sobbing in the fetal position.”)
